last night we welcomed a contingent of 200 that came from quebec, canada. we processed them and they have begun work this morning. there is a lot of work to do out there, and we are deeper into the neighborhoods. we are working on removing trees from lines and beginning the rebuilding inside the neighborhoods today and into the next several days. >> is there anything you can suggest customers do if they are still without power and there are limbs down on the street or the front of their property? can they prepare anything before the crews get there? >> they need to stay clear of the trees and any lines that are down. the likelihood is they are not energized, but we don't want to take a chance and get anybody hurt. so there is nothing really that anybody can do to prepare or move limbs to help. we understand that customers want to help. in fact i was in a neighborhood yesterday where neighbors wanted to pull as many of the limbs as they could to help the crews, and we appreciate that so much, because this is about all of us working together as a community to

that will lock up the cold air up in canada. it can't get much further south than it is right now. for us, we're south of the jet stream. we're doing pretty well. high pressure which is going to build in. giving us the lighter winds this afternoon. and tonight and the sunshine and as the high pulls away later on tonight, tomorrow, our winds turn south and southwesterly. for your wednesday, a nice little warm-up for the day. temperatures shoot into the 50s. some areas may tackle the 60 degree mark. there is another front knocking on the doorstep toward cumberland. by mid afternoon, evening, coming through the metro. our winds turn northwesterly. here comes the cooldown as we head into thursday. thursday's highs will be back only in the 40s. looking at the next three days, bakes down like this. today, high about 50 degrees give or take a couple. winds will be fairly light. 30 to 35 tonight. upper 50s to around 60. chilly again. only in the mid-40s. friday, lower 50s. saturday, i can't rule out a shower saturday. but it looks like a much better chance of showers, even rain developing
